Founding of Aergo Capital

Aergo Capital founded by Fred Browne, focusing on the acquisition of mid-life narrowbody aircraft including MD80s and Boeing 737 Classics.
Safair Acquisition

Aergo Capital acquires Safair (Johannesburg-based MRO and leasing business), expanding Aergo Capital’s African footprint with Boeing 737 Classics leased to South African Airways and others.
Strategic MD82 Fleet Sale

Sale of MD82 fleet prior to the Global Financial Crisis, effectively reducing exposure during the downturn.
Expansion of Asset Management

Acquisition of Seraph Aviation Management

Aergo Capital acquires Seraph Aviation Management, assuming the management and administration of 88 aviation assets leased to 38 lessees with a total asset value of US$2.5 billion. Aergo Capital’s portfolio rises to 304 aircraft valued at approximately US$6.8 billion.
